Thanks to The North Carolina Writers’ Network’s joint Durham/Orange Counties committee for allowing me to facilitate their monthly writing event for April. My extremely cheeky title was "Your Life is More Interesting Than You Think" and we talked about the memoir and personal essay and shared some prompt based writing.
Fifty (!!) people RSVP'd for this event! It was an incredible group of hard working fiction and non fiction writers. It was such a pleasure to get to know members of the NC Writers' Network better. If you aren't a member, I highly recommend it.
Their monthly writing events, hosted at The Chapel Hill Library, are open to members and non-members alike.
